A CLOSE SHAVE! - 15 April 2008
LBS Ystradgynlais recently hosted a Sponsored Head Shave for Cancer Relief.
The normally clean cut Tom Jones, Yard Foreman, had been growing his hair for over a year in readiness for this event, which was in memory of his sister-in-law Rhian Jones, who sadly passed away two years ago.
The event raised over £1000, all donated by LBS customers, suppliers & staff. And as if that was not enough - Keith Williams, Assistant Branch Manager, also entered into the spirit of the event, had his head shaved after raising extra sponsorship pledges.
The Leicester Tigers signed Rugby Shirt, worn by Tom, was kindly donated by Bradstone, and will be raffled off later in the year to raise extra funds for the Charity.
