WORKING WELL TOGETHER - 06 May 2008
An initiative to improve construction safety in Carmarthenshire has been an outstanding success in partnership with LBS Builders Merchants.
A series of events were run by the South Wales Working Well Together Group, which includes representatives from Carmarthenshire Council, to promote construction safety and give small to medium enterprises the opportunity to share best practices.
The events, which consisted of a DVD to highlight the five main causes of ill-health on construction sites, were held in our Ammanford, Llandeilo and Llanelli branches with health and safety advisors on hand to give free advice.
Over 100 people visited the information stands, where they had the opportunity to enter a Free Prize Draw to win a Plasma Screen TV.
